Beyond the Build

A website is only one piece of a healthy technology operation. Sometimes businesses need more than a developer — they need someone who's actually been in the trenches.

Over 15 years of technology work has taken me through a lot of different rooms. That Computer Guy started as my dad's operation — after he passed in 2008 I kept it going, picking up odd jobs and helping people whenever something broke and nobody else could figure it out. I spent time on the front lines of an ISP call center handling network and connectivity troubleshooting on weekends, repaired laptops, phones, gaming consoles, and arcade machines for years, and consistently ended up as the person small businesses and individuals called when their technology stopped cooperating.

That background informs everything I build. I don't just know how websites work — I know how the systems, networks, and devices behind them work too. When a client needs help thinking through their broader tech setup, or wants advice on tools, systems, or workflows that support their business, that's a conversation I'm comfortable having.

Let's have that conversation →
